Sorry to bump this old thread, but this was a night to remember. I was 9 years old and Dad and I sat in the south end zone. As I recall the disappointment over Conway's missed FG at the end (and it was plenty long - couldn't tell which way it was wide as it was at the north end and at an angle) lasted maybe all of three, four seconds and then the crowd just went fricking NUTS as the Tigers came off the field.

What I really remember is quite a few folks all decked out in red walking out with the most stunned, shocked looks on their faces - and "TIGER BAIT! TIGER BAIT! TIGER BAIT" as loud as I ever heard it in my life. It was as if all 80,000+ people were all screaming it in unison.
