Some notes:
Chipper is taking live BP from the right side in Gwinett. He also ran with 90% effort yesterday and said it felt good.
Pastornicky got promoted to AAA.

I can't see the DLowe trade with Detroit happening. They want us to pay a good part of his contract which would defeat the purpose of doing it.

The Mets aren't looking for salary relief for Beltran. They want to eat up most of his contract just for the fact to get a top prospect in return. The Braves aren't going to do that, not for a guy that can't play CF anymore.
I don't see anyway we go for Beltran, or give up what it takes to get him.

I know he's really a corner now...I just read that the Braves are talking to the Mets about him. I haven't seen what they were asking for...I just assumed salary relief.
But if the Braves really wanted Beltran they have the best prospects to offer...though I wish we wouldn't use them on Carlos

That's all you need to know to know that we won't be trading for a guy that will push Heyward or Prado to the bench.

Yeah if they're eating salary I don't see it. I could only see it as a Lowe for Beltran deal
