And good cornerback technique can still prevent that play ... you don't need to get to the ball, just keep the receiver from getting both hands on it. A well timed strip of one arm will force the receiver to make the play one-handed. If he can do that, then more power to him.

Two balls in the spring game were well thrown that I guarantee a normal CB wouldn't be able to make a play on. Simon's long arms allowed him to make the play. I'm not sure they were perfect passes...I'd have to watch again but they definitely were well thrown.
