any problems with roaches etc when you stayed? Is it in the ghetto?

It is in an low-average to average commercial/retail district. I would compare it to the Sherwood Forest or Airline Highway hotels just off I-12 in Baton Rouge. If you're with family, you might see or hear things that make your wife uncomfortable, but you should be safe anyway.

try the fairfield inn on skyland blvd. there is also a hilton garden inn and courtyard marriot right there on the same service road. if not, sorry i'm no help!

I just called and cancelled my reservation and the lady on the phone asked "why is everyone canceling their hotel for November 5th?"

It is what it is, a motel 6. Never noticed any roaches, but I was too drunk to care.

It's right off the interstate and not in the ghetto...from what I could tell.
