i have BLOPs for box PS3 and Xbox. I had an open NAT type for my PS3 cause i set up a static connection on it through my router settings. well, i got my xbox and set it up for a static connection so i could have an OPEN NAT type. well, everytime i go back to my ps3, it says moderate. so, i have to go through my router settings and reset it to static. i play for a bit with an open NAT type then i go back to 360. it now says moderate and the whole process starts over again. am i doing something wrong or what?

At first blush, based off of your question this appears to be a limitation of your "router"

Genreally you can assign multiple static IP addreses within any given subnet.

I just did a little more internet research on your question.

Is your router providing the DHCP role on your home network? If so, can you just do a dhcp reservation on your home network for each the xbox and 360?

From what I can tell..NAT means Network Address Translation..

THat means, when it is turned on, you are able to transmit information from your home network out to the World Wide Web..

The 360 and ps3 may only allow one device to have the NAT setting enabled within the same home network. A possible workaround would be to create a subnet within your home network.

But, I am pretty sure all that is over your head based on above post

Good Luck
