UO was doing Navy Seal type of workouts

This still cracks me up. After letting it digest a day, I guess he gives himself an out by using the word "type", for such a bold statement.

But he makes sure to drop the name Navy Seals in there as to incinuate that Oregon has not only athletes but guys that are in top notch physical condition, smart, can fight their way out of a corner, and how convenient to use that after the Seals get credit for completing a successful mission of taking down world enemy #1 a month ago.

And of course, no other team - especially LSU for that matter - has the calliber of athlete to compare to Oregon's physical specimen of athletic utopia.

He knows what he's doing when he says that. But the fact that he would even attempt to go there is what cracks me up.

Of course it's "type". Navy seals have to stay awake for a week straight at the end of their training. Don't see why you would want your football team to do that (Arkansas).

The beach workouts are helacious though. Conditioning doesn't begin to describe it. It's not hard to believe they could be cross training with some seals. Seals do operate from coastal areas.

Just my 2 cents.

If you actually clicked on my 2 links I provided after I said UO was doing Navy seal like workouts, I was only referring to they were military style and they were in water. When I think of military training in water, I think of the Seals. Man, you just cant help yourself from spinning things. You literally make my point, thread after thread, comment after comment.

I have copied a few headings or words from one of my links... "Oregon football: Military-style ‘Judgment Day’ training catches Ducks’ atten-shun!" "moved to Springfield’s Willamalane Park Swim Center." "U.S. Naval Academy and platoon commander of special operations forces in the Marines."
