teams do win it with one loss plenty of times and in our case 2 but when you lose that game you dont know if you will get right back in it.
LSU auburn wouldn't have been as big as it was last year with a playoff in place assuming the sec gets 2 teams in. Both teams were undefeated at the time and both would have known a loss wont end them.
LSU-arky would have been bigger i can agree with that part.
The only way a play off system would be even close to ok with me is if you use bcs type rankings and slot them 1-8. no conference tie ins, no auto nd clause, no limits on the conference. plus i have a feeling it would start to expand like march madness
