I think there is now way to be too afraid of gators. I know they don't want to mess with us any more than we want with them, but they can still frick your world up.

In all my years in La, I know exactly one person that has been bitten by a gator. It was a little one my brother and I were keeping as a pet and my bro set him down on some hot pavement. Gator freaked out and when he went to pick him back up he bit him on the hand.

Other then that, no one. And lets just say I have been in close contact with a few gators.

Agreed. They kill people in Florida at a consistent rate.

The worst part about it is they will see small children as a food source and hunt them.

As for salties, they are BFN. There are a few populations of them throughout the Gulf Coast area.
