We have been discussing this at length since the beginning of the game.

B.S....The Lakers never get a call

We were completely outplayed in games 2, 3, and 5. We havent benefited from the calls, but in no way did the calls decide the game.

Los Angeles also forced 19 turnovers by the Hornets, who were outscored 22-2 in second-chance points after dominating that effort-based statistic in Game 4.
Do the Lakers get some beneficial calls? Sure.
But this isn't exactly the JFK assassination Batman.
Andrew Bynum ran over us like a freight train.
End of story.

What are your thoughts on the MT5 trade? Also, do you think he would benefit us right now? And what's up with CP3's knee?

I kind of agree with the OP, I am starting to think the NBA is truly rigged.

NBA is rigged, what more evidence do people need than their own ref coming out and saying it is (Tim Donaghy)
he knew that he would be shunned and blackballed by basketball forever, but he did it anyway

Which is the exact reason it's not rigged anymore.

Lol you think theyve straightened up their act even tho 95% of fans dont believe donaghy? You think they are gonna call it straight up n a season where they need big viewer #s more than ever?

The games aren't rigged. Star players get calls, but the games aren't straight up rigged.

I dont think there is anyway the league allows the hornets to win this series. If we get to a game 7, it will be the worst game for us hornets fans to watch. It is pathetic the way the NBA has changed the game.

I feel that, occasionally, they are
Kings/lakers game 6
Try to explain 27 free throws for the lakers. Kobe basically punched Bibby in the face and they called the foul on Bibby. Try to explain what happened. You think it was just bad officiating?
The NBA is definitely guided which is why only 7 teams have won the title in 30 years. Think about that.
The NFL has had 18 different champs by comparison...I get the different playoff formats, but come on.

I'm not speaking of 2002. I'm speaking of 2011.

If you are willing to admit it was rigged 9 years ago, why would it be so implausible today?
While the hornets fricked themselves over, it is still interesting that the lakers shot, I believe, 19 free throws in the final quarter, and yet the lakers were clearly the more physical team.
Like I said, I believe it is only occasionally out right fixed, the NBA often "influences" or "encourages" particular outcomes. I think it is a delicate balance between creating more games for the series, and ensuring stars and traditional teams advance.
