Didn't know his mother graduated from LSU.....can we get this guy and would he be our QB this year, or does our staff hold out to get a higher ranked player, or someone local, isn't there a halfway decent QB out of Louisiana this year?

Might get a look later on down the road if we start missing out on more and more guys. As it stands, there are a number of guys we are still looking at that are better

he has the name and the look that's for sure..... didn't know he was from Austin Westlake originally until after I read this article, they are a powerhouse, i'm sure he will dominate at a much smaller school.

Preston Dewey won the Elite 11 in Ft. Worth. According to ESPN's Luginbill he "dominated" the event.
Was named an Under Armour All American and will play in the Under Armour All Star game at Orlando in January
Made the U.S. Army All American All Combine Team
Has big time offers and more coming.
Is getting coached by Ty Detmer in a sophisticated offense.

I agree..compared to our recent QB depth, to say this kid is a "backup plan" is idiotic
