Standing sections at EPL stadiums

These were banned in the top two divisions in The UK after hillsborough. There seems to be a big push to reinstate them. Germany has a seating system that allows for people to stand at domestic games and sit at Euro games. UEFA requires all stadiums to have seats not standing areas like the UK. If they could do it in a safe way, I think the standing areas would be a good idea because they add to the culture of the game, and might make a ticket cheaper. Any thoughts on this?

Read this yesterday morning in class. Don't think its going to happen. My gut reaction would be not to support it simply because of history but if they found some safer way to organize it then I'd be open to the idea. Standing room only in baseball in the US is pretty popular and accident free over its history.
