re: New Orleans regional and 2012 Final Four

At the Nola final 4 with Melo and Kansas, they cut off half the dome like they do in a lot of places. I sat in the top corner of the free standing seating. It wasn't a terrible angle, but probably the worst of those seats.

I believe the one with the Fab 5 had the entire dome used. I was young when I went though and remember more about Weber's timeout than the seating setup used.

I wouldn't worry about New Orleans needing a trial run for a major sporting event. Between super bowls, final 4's, and sugar bowls, the city and superdome know how to put on a major event.
