He would have shite on hisself those games too if the play calls wasn't for a quick slant.. each time to TT.. When he have to go to the second option.. Thats when he look scared as crap... GC just wanted to get him some playing time before he got the booth.

Anyone watching with any analytical skills whatsoever, knows what he does well and what he does poorly, and why he did good when he did.

JJ did really well down the stretch for a reason.

If his primary reciever is wide open and JJ has protection, he did well. Otherwise, he ran or passed poorly. Period. This is by far the case, with very few exceptions. Ole Miss and TAMU had horrific pass defenses. Bama's defense was better obviously and he capitilized with the 2 passes in a row from inside the 5 yards line for a large part of his passing yards, and did fairly well otherwise, mixing in successful running to allow ok passing overall. JJ struggled against Arky, close to his normal 2010 performance.

JJ can look great in practice ad infinitum, but he has scarcely been able to maintain pocket pressure and look at ANYONE other than his prime target during any games. He has NOT progressed like many think in this area, so it comes down much more to the defense he is facing and whether they can cover and/or pressure him. If not, he can look sharp. If so, then he will look aweful. He did grow, however, as a running QB as the season progressed.

I watched every game multiple times, and the exceptions to this are extremely rare. If you do not see it this way, it is because you have not really watched where his head goes before/after the snap, or you just do not want to be honest.
period.

That said, i hope Krags changes this and he does great. But until I see him consistently perform against a real SEC-contending defense, he is still not good enough to lead us to the promised land, but he can start and play situationally and be a nice ingredient in an LSU winning formula with Mett (and maybe Lee) that can lead us to the promised land.
