Before anyone bashes me we are stuck having to use gas. No other grill is an option. I've done ribs on my egg many times so I have a clue on how to prepare them. I am looking for any suggestions using a gas grill. Should be foil them? Bake and finish on grill? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Had the same problem last weekend at buddies house, I did two hours on indirect heat with some wood chips on direct heat side, wrapped them in foil for two hours, and finished directly on the grill with some Sweet baby rays and fresh honey to glaze it with. Came out perfect, use a spicier rub with less brown sugar and get your sweet from the rub at the end.

The above method for indirect cooking will work using a packet of fruitwood or oak.

For 4 large racks, figure 2 hours at 275F unfoiled, and then wrap in a double layer of foil. I usually use a wrapping mixture (4pts brown sugar, 4pts honey, 1pt apple juice).
Cook the packets for an hour, flipping midway.

Remove the packets from the heat and let rest in the foil for about 20 minutes.

Remove the ribs from the foil and dust with your seasoning blend, cooking meatside up for 30 minutes.

Brush on your BBQ sauce and tighten up the glaze in the cooker for about 25-30 minutes.
