It appears that Texas has verbally offered him and he will commit Sunday.Guy that really likes us but i'm guessing he likes Texas a little more.I hope this is just the Texas guys being overconfident but every Texas guy i've talked to or read are saying that it's a done deal or that they will be shocked if he doesn't commit.I'm hoping he shocks them at least long enough to visit LSU.

He seems like the type of guy that would give each team a fair shot as he hasn't visited us yet this off-season. He said that he would re-schedule his LSU visit, so hopefully he sticks to that

I've seen that as well and am hoping the same.At least give us a visit and then make a choice.I must admit I am a little suprised if the talk is true because of the admiration of LSU that he's shown.I know that Texas people can be a little cocky with kids but they're all very confident on this one.

They are always very cocky with these "Recruit or Die" weekends they have. It's amazing how hard they press these kids to commit at their events

this is one of the main reasons why I never get excited about any texas prospects until after texas' junior day, or after they give out offers... they always seem to talk about being open and considering other schools and then bam, Texas offers and its game over, they wont even think about checking out what else is out there... its just crazy and kind of sad

This
UT is like LSU, if they really want an instate guy, they likely get them.
Alexander and Humphries would still be a heck of an out of state pull on the Oline.

UT has been pretty confident on whoever got him in first between LSU and UT had the best shot. That doesn't really make sense to me but they really felt like whoever he visited first would get his signature. This is also far from over. It will be interesting to see how UT responds if he commits but still decides to visit LSU.

Long long way till signing day....that's obvious.
However, I have recruiting fatigue. We'll see what he starts doing in August.

breaking my cherry here!
I think the weather was poor taste on this one, like posters above said Texas is very confident and we don't have a top recruiter in Texas. Since we have lost DJ, Texas is recruiting is pretty much non-existent compared to the 09 class. I know a lot has to do with we just one a championship then but still this year is more important than ever to get oos kids. Still a long ways to nsd.

Maybe if Riser goes to Texas we offer Nacho.

I think the coaching staff should offer nacho anyways. Can never have enough men in the trenches!

Sheadixon Shea Dixon Just talked to Curtis Riser's mom, who is w him at Texas Junior Day. No commit yet. She also talked about him visiting #LSU again.
So I guess he isn't going to commit to Texas today.
