I know it isnt the most likely to happen but if we sign Jernigan to line up next to Freak where does Ego fit in the lineup?

Ego will just be another BEAST in the rotation.

Jernigan still has to beat him out. It's not like he gets a starting spot on signing day.

Miles already said he will work out at DE. Tyson Jackson was 290, and not nearly as explosive/fast as Ego is. Ego is about 275 and is losing bad weight and gaining good weight. People forget that he wasnt here for any of the summer workouts and missed out on getting in college shape, yet still impressed the coaches in fall practice.

He will be a very good DE IMO

1. You can never have too many D-lineman in the rotation

2. Never expect a true freshman - however highly rated/hyped he may be, to be a starter in this league right away.

Freak can play anywhere on D-line. Looked amazing coming off the edge at DE during the AA practices. The more guys we have that can play, will give us the ability to get some mismatches, and stay fresh.

We can certainly use all the depth with so many RB studs in the SEC. The key to stopping it is DL talent, depth, & health.

The more diversity you have on the DL, the better you can be situationaly. Some players are perfect fits, while others may be better swing options- goal line or pass rush. Take a big DE , move him inside for 3rd and long, more options = better D. Just my observation.

Ego will do fine at DE. He is a big guy with a longer frame and he has good speed/quickness

What part of having two great players and added depth to the D Line are you having a problem with exactly?
