I prefer .45, but seriously, with todays ammo its all about preference. I find the .40 and .357sig to be too "snappy" for my personal shooting style.
Walther can be conceal carry, given the right clothing and holster. If I can conceal a full size 1911 I am pretty sure you won't have any probs unless you are a really small guy.
