Look at the statement that Ridley made concerning his ineligible status. It sounds like a smooth public relations comment, or a Harvard lawyer's spiel.

The NCAA has nothing to do with fairness or what's right. We've learned this over and over again.
After the Cam Newton fiasco, I've lost what little shred of respect I had for the NCAA and now all my respect for Mark Emmert.
In the end, the NCAA is corrupt and nothing but a typical government run hustle.

I always thought the kid was smart. He may still be smart but cheating is pretty dumb given all he has on the line.

Rocks, I don't hate Ridley, and never have. I thought he made some stupid plays in the UNC game, but he seems to have bettered his game since then. Much respect for the kid.
I was talking about the NCAA in my post, not Ridley. Of course, being critical of bad mental mistakes by a player = you hate him to some of these dumbasses.
