LSU beat Bama and Hogs lost to them.
Both teams lost to Auburn but LSU lost by 7 and Hogs lost by 22.
LSU beat ULM by 51 and Hogs beat them by 24.
LSU beat MSU by 22 and Hogs beat them in double O/T.

The biggest misconception Arky fans are having is that our defense struggled against OM.Our defense eats up pro style offenses.Nevis and the blitzers will be all over Mallett and we will eat the running game up.Only concern is if the cbs are going to show up this week.

Really? Your rush defense allows like 170 yards a game!! I don't think your defense will 'eat up the running game'.

But two games that inflated those numbers were AU and OM......both w/ QB's that can run.

it's actually 135 yds a game, and that includes a 400+ yard game by Auburn. LSU is very good against the run when the opponent does not have a mobile qb running the spread option
