Photo editing

Im looking for something I can download free online to do so photo editing. Thank you in advance and yes....I'm too broke to buy a program.

Download a bit torrent program and then search for your favorite software. However, this method is illegal...I certainly would never do such a thing.

I use paint.net which is a entry level photo shop program. One day I'll move to gimp and learn how to use brushes.

I exclusively use Paint.net. Freeware. Basic commands.
Yes, Photoshop is much more powerful. However, I cannot rationalize spending that much money.
Gimp has a lot of capacity. However, it isn't very intuitive. I downloaded it and was frustrated and went back to Paint within an afternoon.
There are some things I simply cannot do with Paint.net. I realize that and work around it. I don't think it limits my work much.
Remember, photo editting software is just a tool. The quality of images produced are a result of the user (artist). Practice greatly improves the users abilities.

Paint.net has brushes. You have to download the plug-in from their forum. However, I don't really like that feature and never use it. I don't know how it compares to GIMP or Photoshop.

I have used FotoFlexor.com... it is pretty basic
