Auburn Tailgate Party - It's Geaux Time

My crew will be throwing down for our annual away game RV trip. Anyone that is going to be in Auburn on Saturday and would like to join us, come on by and get down with some fellow Tiger fans. We will have a serious sound system going along with the normal tailgate activities. The festivities will start early Saturday morning around 8-9am.
We rented a parking lot with hookups that is located at 121 Bragg Avenue in downtown Auburn. It is in between a fraternity house and some college apartments and is two blocks from Toomer's Corner and four blocks north of the stadium. I have already contacted the fraternity just to give them a heads up that we are rolling into town this weekend and will be right next door.

We are renting the space from a company whose offices are also there. They said that we can spread out on the property and party there as much as we like. They know that we are LSU fans and said that they do not mind at all. There will be other tailgaters doing their thing across the street in another parking lot.
This is a pic on the spot with their company's RV parked there. It will be gone this weekend.
Last year, we rented the entire BP parking lot on Georgia's campus when they said we couldn't park our RV anywhere on campus. It was so great to watch all the big time Dawg boosters have to walk past our party just to get to the stadium from their RV lot. We blew it up with a rather large LSU crowd in attendance.

Cool. My son and I are planning to come up, and really don't have anywhere to hang out. Nice to know that Tiger fans are offering to meet up. Hope to see you there.

Me and 8 others are making the trip. I don't think we have any set plans for tailgating. We may make a pass, should we bring anything besides our boose???
I also remember passing by you guys last year when I was in Athens

I'm assuming if you got an email about our party then you are friends with either someone in my crew or a friend of a friend. Either way, everyone is welcome. We are going to have beer and booze and food, but bringing some beer or your favorite beverage would be good. We will have cups, ice and will find a place to put it for you.

I will give you cash to support your efforts. If we get there around 7, will we be able to park close?

4 of us are making the trip, just bring cash for beer if we come?

Sounds good. We are told that parking is easy on the street there and should not be a problem.

Thanks a lot. I believe there will be a decent amount in our crew. Some coming form BR/Laffy/LC and another smaller group from here in Bham.

I would love to contribute. My dad's first road game. Email billylsu@gmail.com if there is anything we can do. Already bringing plenty of beer and whiskey. Also, how far is that from the stadium?

Awesome! Wish I was going!
You should tell the people at Down Set Geaux about it. They are doing a book on LSU tailgating and looking for away game stories per their Facebook page. www.DownSetGeaux.com

Happy to help with cash or beverages you can email anytime lsu199@hotmail.com.
My little boy is pumped to make the trip, and wanted to know if there would be any cool tigers to hang out with. Looks like there will be plenty headed your way.

You do know that you just invited 10,000 LSU fans who will be hungry, thirsty and need bathroom facilities?

Looks like you are backing up to Mike & Ed's BBQ -- killer ribs, pulled pork is so-so. I go there every chance I get.

We are providing the space and the tunes. We will do what we can with the rest. People are big boys and girls and can fiigure the rest for themselves. I'm told there are places for supplies in the area. Bring on the masses.

Bring your own purple and gold toilet tissue to roll Toomer's after the game.
Let's see how long it takes this rumor to hit the Aubbie message boards.
