6.5x47, 260remington, 6mm br all better than 308 or anything else posted so far. However they aren't common and you should of course reload.

I suggested a .264 Win. Mag. I own a .260 Rem, .270 Rem and .243 Win. The .264 Win Mag wins hand down and will out preform any caliber you listed.

This round is a monster.

I have a 300 win mag that I use. Bullets get very expensive for a day at the range when you start getting into that. Every time I squeeze the trigger it cost me $2.60.
