I will be staying in Lake City on Friday night. We have a tent and BBQ pit, but nothing to fancy. How early should we get to campus and what is a good location for visiting teams? I do not mind walking up to a mile if need be, but obviously would prefer to be closer. TIA
they don't get out to campus quite early as we do for night games. its about a 30 minute drive from Lake City, so I would probably leave there around 8 am or so if you want to get a good spot. before noon you will still be able to park on campus, but you'll be a little further away.

anywhere near the union, law center or tennis facility would be a decent spot, but I am sure there are many others

Is parking a clusterfrick, or is there some organization to it? Don't want to come out of The Swamp and have no vehicle lol.
