JL is probably going to get hammered about his endzone interception, but which idiot called an endzone fade to the shortest person on the field.REALLY?

Thought it was a strange call too.

Maybe a down and out or hitch to the RB on that side but a fade?

JL, whenever he was in, played exceptionally. All his passes were on the money even the interception pass was a good pass. That was a dumb call by GC and he should be fired for such a dumb call. Whe you have a running back who is running all over a team and your on their goal line you run it in it's obvious. Honestly who passes in that situation

besides the delay of game, intentional grounding, and the interception yes, he showed alot of heart...wouldnt call it exceptional

JL still has trouble with not being able to deviate from whatever play is called even if the guy is triple covered. im scared he will do the same thing with UF but JL gives us a better chance than JJ thats for sure

1. That was a horrible pass
2. It wasn't a fade route

Lee has matured:

I thought without any timeouts and down on the goal line. Lee threw the ball out of bounds. It was a bit high, I thought it may get intentional grounding possibly, but it didnt.

He did not take a sack (which would have loss us seconds on the clock)
He did not force the throw and risk an interception.

He's not great, but he's good enough for us to win.

JL released the ball while the route was still developing.

Ridley allowed the DB to get good positioning on him after the ball was thrown which account for the interception.

Mostly this is on Ridley in my book.

There were other decisions JL made that made me cringe...

Like???

(INT to Ridley, Delay of Game call) What else?
Did he make you cringe on the last drive. Do you think JJ could have led us down the field on that drive?

we only throw fades to shep and ridley. 6'5 and 6'4 need not apply

fair enough question...

The delay of game penalty is one... That was a brain fart type of thing. Another one was a play where he went into the pocket and began to panic and threw a duck that could have (maybe even should have) been picked.

For the record I do think at this point JL gives the offense a spark and makes them more productive. And it could be that more experience will help him overall. We shall see...

The only throw I saw that I didnt like was the one he trew up for grabs over the middle. Heh ad a defender in his face, he made a good pump fake and froze him I was thinking oh snap go JL... then he never moved and threw the ball up. I was VERY pleased with him, but that one play was very bad.

Great call. Bad execution. Lee should have thrown it away.

Lee was not perfect. He did make some mistakes. But he made far fewer mistakes than JJ. He also showed us he can lead this team down the field in the air.

If JJ was our QB all night last night. We lose that game hands down. JJ probly wouldnt have made that long 3rd down completion and that long 4th down completion.

Do people not remember the passes he threw off his back foot?

I remember one terrible pass off his back foot to nobody. But I also remember JJ throw some bad passes too.

The truth is we just dont have a great QB back there. But we really dont need a great QB. We need a decent QB. Lee is that guy and actually gives us a chance to win more games than JJ does.

I agree. At the moment, Lee gives us a better chance to win.

He did do this, but overall and relative to our recent offense, he did very well.

Why are we not using our tall receivers more?
