i agree 100%; it shouldn't be that damn complicated. you sent JJ in to run a certain play, every player, defensive player and fans in the stands knew it. i think sending JJ in in that situation was telegraphing the option read. we continue to outguess ourselves on offense. if we had a good offense coordinator (not great) and better coaching on the OL, we'd be as good as bama.
