How can local media not know of PP Heisman status?

The Advocate notes that "No official website touts Peterson as a Heisman candidate yet, though an unofficial Facebook page doing so boasted some 3,500 followers Monday." So far, he is leading in Nissan's poll to receive their vote. Heisman Vote While that is only 1/940 of all votes, I'd say its an official website and far more important than a FaceBook page, and PP is way ahead at this early stage with over 19,000 votes.
