This. Think about it. A good coach at a lower echelon BCS school has a topnotch record over
2-3 years and is being paid say, $1,300,000/year. Along comes LSU and offers him $3,300,000/year. That's $2M/year increase.

Lets say he stays at LSU for 5 years. That's $16.5M in 5 years. Had he stayed at the other school, he'd have been paid $6.5M during the same time. So, taking the LSU job is worth $10M to him. Would you do it? You're lying if you said NO. One could raise a lot of little Scientologists for $10M.
