After evaluating our team and it's progress over the first three games I really feel that if we continue to progress at the rate that we have on both sides of the ball we'll have a legitimate shot to win the conference. With that said I feel that the toughest games remaining will be the three big ones on the road...Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas. I honestly feel more confident about beating Alabama at home than I do winning these tough road games. It obviously has to happen for us to make it back to Atlanta. Anyone else feel the same way? Disagree?

Auburn is my biggest worry. The crooked refs in the state of AL always keep it close.

At this time & unless Lsu picks up its game I don't see us winning but 2 of these games at most.

Throw WVU in the group. May not be the easy win that some think.

In order of difficulty to win:

1. Alabama
2. Arkansas
3. Florida
4. Auburn

I had all four of these as losses before the season, but I now would not be surprised if we beat Auburn and I even think there's a chance at Florida, although I still consider us an underdog at the Swamp. Arkansas still looks like a hell of a tough game and I still think Alabama rolls us.

Of course this is probably just my eternal optimism and pollyanna outlook talking. I said before the season that this team could not prove anything good until the Florida game, and my realistic side still thinks that's true, but my sunshiney side is encouraged by the defense looking better than I thought and the running game looking apparently improved.

I was worried about Florida until they played a couple of games. Now, Bama has to be a concern becasue of our very small defense. They have two running backs that bench over 400lbs. Thats a big back for somebody like skinny Mingo to bring down. Auburn is overrated and will lose 4 games.
