Canadian Club: Mad Men Edition

After watching a recent episode of Mad Men it made me quite thirsty for some whiskey, Canadian Club to be exact. I looked in my liquor cabinet and lo and behold I had a bottle from a long time ago. I never tried it before but will tonight, what do you guys think of it?

CC was my stepdad's drink. He was a CC & 7 man.
It's a blended whisky - fairly smooth - but not complex. It won't knock your socks off taste-wise, but it's a serviceable spirit for mixing.
I prefer bourbon, but to each his own.

i can't do a blended whiskey for some reason. it fricks up my stomach. it's straight bourbon for me.

Just to clarify...Canadian Club is what I drink at work. I'm a rye man otherwise.
