The response was in regards to seeing LSU placed a PREMIUM on their SPECIAL TEAM'S PLAY as it relates to BLOCKING PUNTS, FIELD GOALS and EXTRA POINTS ala Va. Tech. It does win close games. I am quite sure you remember the National Championship Game against Ohio State University when Ricky Jean-Francios blocked the field goal attempt that changed the momentum and outcome of the entire game. Again, Coach Miles offered a kid (Alex Russian) a scholarship to become the team's long snapper a few years ago (2007), but he had over 23 scholarships when he did it. I never said he should offer someone a scholarship if he had only 15 of them. Let's get it right and not B.S. about something that does not warrant a "FLAME!"
