Found out that the Belle of Baton Rouge no longer offers the seafood extravaganza. I'm craving some crab legs/boiled shrimp/gumbo/etc. Any ideas in and around Baton Rouge?

King Buffet on Bluebonnet has boiled shrimp, crawfish, fried shrimp, salmon, crab legs, crab dumplings. They tend to rotate what they offer, though, so you might be well served to ask to see the buffet before you're seated.

It's across the street from the mall. A dinner buffet and drink will set you back $13.

Sidenote, The buffet is $13 with tax.

The dinner buffet is usually $10, the lunch buffet is closer to $6 I think. They also have sushi on the buffet, but I don't eat buffet sushi.

Lafleurs Jr in Walker on Sat nites. Please trust me on this one. If you don't like it I'll send you a check for the cost of your dinner plus gas for driving out there.
