We got 161 yards rushing in that game, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. We also got 163 yards passing. A 3-0 turnover advantage, plus four failed 4th down conversions by Georgia Tech, contributed to the score in our favor, as we scored 24 of our 38 points on four possessions that started in Georgia Tech territory (drives of 19, 24, 42 and minus 14 yards). We also failed on 3rd and 4th and goal at the 1. In any event, 324 yards total offense and 4.6 yards per rush does not constitute "destroying" anybody.
