IMO yes. Will it have alot to do with how we lose? I'm actually rooting for him FWIW, but alas if he loses four I think the machine will be started.

I venture to say a 6 loss season wouldn't = the axe.

It has probably already started in some form.

Define the 4 losses. Lose eartly to UNC, beat UF @ Swamp, lose to Gumps , lose to UF in SECG, lose a bowl game?
Fire a coach that won the West?

If that happens, Jordan Jefferson is an all-american

Everyone's mind wanders and thinks these things. I'm not so scared as to not speak of the things we all think.

Give me your top 3 choices to replace Miles if we have a losing season and his employment is terminated

That would mean his 6 season record would be 60-19(76%} with 6 bowls, 2 west titles, SEC title, 5 ranked teams out of 6, and a NC in 07.

This is just me wondering, but how many coaches in our 100+ years of football have ever equaled the above?

wow, and i thought slow witted nega-tigahs only responded to pro-lsu posts. but, here you have started your own negative thread.
the negas are really proud of you.
if you want to use common sense, i would suggest reading a few coaching manuals and try to be more inspirational.

but, this will bring out the negatigers like nuts4lsu to your defense.

so, keep on swingin, there, boy.

Everyone knows Nick Saban is the only logical choice, if you pay him $20 million per year he will come back

I heard Jerry Jones wants him to be the next coach of the Cowboys, will pay whatever it takes. And it is Nick Saban's dream job, besides LSU

I think WHO we lose to matters most. We've lost to Florida, Alabama and Ole Miss for two years running. If we don't win against at least two of those teams AND there are four losses, I think the ball gets rolling for a replacement. Consistently losing to top opponents seems a pretty good indicator to me that your coach is getting out coached given the talent level of our team. I don't want to win 8 to 9 games a year and lose to Florida and Alabama every year. I don't think that's what any Tiger fan wants. We would be the Michigan to Ohio State and that's not going to cut it.
