I guess there are still a large percentage of Americans who believe that their elected officials represent them. Your elected officials are bought and paid for by lobbyists hired by corporate America and other worldwide corporations like BP. Both parties Republican and Democrat fall under their sway. Big money controls the power and the instrument of power is Congress, the President and the Judiciary. All bought and paid for and given marching orders by the corporate heads. They are all in collusion. The very few who aren't are ostracized and have no impact on the decisions made at the federal level. If more Americans understood this then I believe there could truly be a groundswell of support for a third party candidate who is not in the loop. The only problem is that people like George Soros et. al have the ability to make people go away either by payoff or character assassination or by other means. So the outsider literally risks his reputation or possibly life by speaking out and challenging the existing power structure. I will now end my rant.
