How did you leave out Toby Caston?
Do names like Bradie James, Trev Faulk, and Allen Stansberry ring out? Caston was very good, but he's not in that company. So, that's "how I left him out."
I am waiting on the "How could you leave Rodney Reed and Tyke Tolbert out?" Everyone has opinions...if they'd all just be bold enough to share them fully.

My reasoning for my running backs since so many tink my top 5 is absurd...
1. Collins - As I have said, I have never seen a more complete back in an LSU uniform. You don't run for 400 yards against two good SEC opponents in back to back games and not have something special. No one will change my mind ever. He was Bo Jackson-like good. He was running over guys like Takeo Spikes.
2. Faulk - Most evryone else's #1 and that's fine and mostly because Collins is blackballed.
3. H Williams - Started as a true frosh and before he tore up his knee in the Superdome, he was as good as advertised. He wasn't the same after that surgery in college, but while he was healthy he was a complete back - great out of the backfield.
4. Mealey - Was right there with Collins and Faulk. Lest we frget the Indy Bowl? Rondell was quiet but without him, we don't win 19 games from '96-'97.
5. Why Toefield? Let's start with 21 rushing td's and the motto, "So goes LT, so goes LSU."
I could have easily added:
Hiliard
non-fat Broussard
Addai
Fuller
Hester (but to the poster who said he> Cecil...bwahahaha)
C Scott
I lik MY 5 just fine.
