Dewhurst hasn't said anything publicly.

FYI ... Joe Straus, Speaker of the Texas House, is a Vanderbilt grad. These comparisons can go on all day. I think ultimately, assuming offers are on the table from both the Pac-10 and SEC (insider sources indicate that's the case) I think the decision will be made by Texas A&M's Board of Regents.

Kay Bailey Hutchinson is a UT grad an running for GOP nod against Perry.

The congressman for Baylor and TAMU is an aggie.
