Well, I'm not really talking about next year. Like stated by above poster, that is like 0.1% chance of starting next year.
What I am saying is why do football fans think this kid is going to come in and make a major contribution at QB, at anytime? If he comes in and does well at Pitcher (Ace, most likely), and leads the Tigers to major victories at QB, well he would be like the greatest thing since sliced bread. Is this what people expect of him?
ETA: Maybe I'm just misinterpreting some of the comments on the recruiting board.

I think he is a waste of time for Football. He will concentrate on bball and that leaves way too little time to be a starting SEC QB.
So if he sits 2 years, then gets a shot the 3rd year, thats when he is eligible to go pro, and HE IS GOING TO GO PRO in bball, and that leaves the football team scrambling to find a new qb.
I don't understand him coming to LSU and trying both unless he is football first. We could be developing other recruits that we may miss on because he is here.
Love the story, hate the reality.
