Burning

I have a friend whose supply boat is working on the burn team. From what he says they are burning as often as the weather conditions allow. Judging from the pics he had, and the size/height of the flames and corresponding smoke, it seems pretty effective. Relatively speaking, it's a drop in the bucket, but better than nothing.
