How much are you going to be working as you go back to school?
I am in a management role right now, so some of my daily stuff can be passed down the line. My boss is an engineer from Tech, and says he will give me enough time to really get into the curriculum. I would hope I could get around 25 hours per week at work. I really wont know until I see how many hours I need to take per semester to graduate in a reasonable amount of time. I could also study at work while things are slow($4 gas).

Well, just realize that some of the early weed out classes are "time killers". For instance, Calculus I is a 5 hour course at LSU and you will probably be taking Physics 2101, a 3 hour course, at the same time. I would imagine working 25 hours a week while taking just those two classes alone, would put you on a pretty tight schedule.
Getting past those early Math and Physics classes will be the biggest hurdle, especially if your foundation for math and science is rusty. However, your math skills must be fairly good since you are an Econ major.
Good luck.
