I never said everytime, but I think you could make a case that in this instance it had something to do with it. You can't tell me that they weren't more jacked and focused to play the #1 team in the nation in probably the biggest and nicest stadium they will play in.
ETA: I think it is safe to say we win on Friday with Ranaudo to take 2 out of 3

being jacked up doesn't mean just throw your pitchers out and not worry about the next few games though.
Look at midweek games when it comes in state schools...the rant will claim that the instate school throws their ace every time they play a mid week game..and outside of Nicholls I think last year...no team through their ace.
UL threw a 4th starter
SLU threw a 3rd
I'm not saying you won't be jacked up...but a team doesn't sacrfice the whole next series
