i wasnt talking to you ,,, and i agree "one exercise and you want the best translator to football strength, the Bench press is not it"

but no one can say that the bench press doesnt have its place it should be a test for the line and line backers ..that is a motion used every snap

Agree. I would take this further to include DB and receivers. These guys don't use this motion quite as much as linemen (or LB), but bench press strength is very useful for stalk blocking or shedding blockers.
Again, maybe not the most important lift, but important nevertheless.
