and thats not a bad offer at all for the guy keeping jon sanchez
That's a terrible, comically bad offer for J. Mauer, regardless of my SPs.

I like Sanchez to break out this year considering his second half. It's by no means a lock but I don't mind gambling on an SP when I only keep 4.
Interesting.

not really
he isnt a super power hitter and he doesnt steal bags
the difference in homers makes up for the difference in steals, and 2b is a thin position just like catcher, and you get a better starter.
its not that bad at all, but you seem to think sanchez is gonna break out. i dont, whatever

I'd rather take a risk on Sanchez than a guy that has never in his career been able to stay healthy. Here's his pre-season outlook per CBS:
I don't see that as an upgrade over Sanchez.
quote:
We have to be resigned to the fact that Harden will never be a 200-inning pitcher at this point. Years of injury woes, mostly with his shoulder, have made him one of the most frustrating pitchers in Fantasy Baseball history -- next to Mark Prior perhaps. The problem with Harden isn't just the injuries, but because he looks healthy and so dominant at times. Then, he leaves in the third inning of his next start and misses his next two, leaving Fantasy owners with goose eggs, red faces and gray hair. We cannot be sure what to expect at this point. After signing with the Rangers this winter, his knockout stuff makes him a risk worth taking among the top 50 starting pitchers on Draft Day. They have a great offense to get him run support, even if the ballpark is favorable for hitters. (Updated 1/11/10)

I'm not trading Mauer for guys you're SPs you're not keeping that I can pick up in the draft.
