who besides ks and pp will step up and be leaders on the defense.i guess the biggest questions are,how much pressure can our d-line generate and how will the lb corp come together. i don't think our defense has been this big of a question mark in recent memory. i hope we can get back to dominating at the line, because thats where football games are won and lost.

Drake Nevis needs to step up and come into fall in better shape, so he can stay on the field. That dude needs to make plays in the backfield for us to be really good imo.

i know baker is a human bowling ball on with special teams but doesnant he need to beef up if he is gonna start at lb

yea, but downs played vs 5A competition and davenport vs 3A. It makes a difference. Guys that play vs 5A cant just bully people around, they have to develop as a player: quick off the ball, low pad level, footwork, moves, hand placement. Downs was more polished.
