The Vampire Diaries

This show has has gotten ridiculously awesome since it came back from its Christmas break! I love how everything seems to be connected to Katherine. And with Stefan and Damon now hating each other again, it's about to get crazy. And what's up with the teacher?!? He knows way too much to just be looking for revenge for his wifes murder. Maybe she is a vampire who hasnt appeared yet?? Can't wait to see what happens with Bonnie and Elena. The two new vampires, Anna and the bartender, have them and I gotta think they will use them to open the grave with all the vampires. I almost feel bad for Damon. It looked like he really wanted to trust Elena and Stefan. Can't wait for next week!

i'm currently watching supernatural. have you seen it and how would you compare the vampire diaries? i was thinking of watching it next.

I haven't see a lot of Supernatural but the episodes I've seen were pretty good. I don't really know how it compares but vampire diaries for the most part follows one storyline.

I agree Vampire Diaries is pretty awesome. I enjoyed the Twilight series but IMO VD is better. Also Stefan Salvetoire > Edward Cullen.
Do you think the teacher is a vampire? He wears the ring that allows you to go out in daylight, but the way he was talking w/ Stefan in the school tonight made me think he's a little ignorant of the vampire world. I also think his wife might have been transformed, maybe she's in that crazy tomb everyone is freaking about.
Btw, Anna's character is super annoying, even before I found out she was a vampire I couldn't stand the broad

I don't think the teacher is a vampire but I think he has some connection to Elena. In last weeks episode when the teacher and Jenna(Elena's aunt) were talking about the teacher's wife, he said her name was Isobelle which is Elena's birth mothers name. Maybe it's a coincidence but I don't know

I have a feeling the teacher being Elena's father is a red herring, he looks way too young to be her father

I don't think he is her father but there is something there. When Jenna told Elena she was adopted, she told her all they knew about her birth mother was that she was a 16 year old girl named Isabelle who left town after giving birth.
And the teacher did say his wife was a native of mystic falls

i havent read them but here is the order to read them in:
1. The Awakening (1991)
2. The Struggle (1991)
3. The Fury (1991)
4. Dark Reunion (1992)
there are also some new books coming out:
The new trilogy,
The Vampire Diaries: The Return:
5. Nightfall (02/10/2009)
6. Shadow Souls (due March 16th, 2010)
7. Midnight (due July 1st, 2010)

Poor Damon! I'm waiting for him to go nuts and just kill everyone. Good episode tonight with the opening of the tomb. So how long before we see Katherine?? And what's Elena's brother gonna do now that he knows about the vampires??
And WTF is up with the show taking a break until the end of march?!?! I'm guessing the olympics but that's a crappy reason to push the show back!

Last nights episode was pretty awesome. I wonder if Anna is really going to peace out since she got her mom back. Damon needs to let the Katherine thing go now that he knows she didn't care enough to ever find him.

Awww snap! So the teachers wife is elena's mom and Damon turned her into a vampire!!!! This show is crazy! And Anna and her mom must be planning something with the new Harper vampire finding their home. Katherine has to be coming soon!
