Anybody care to share any tips on how in the hell to play defense. I cant stop the 2008 Lions right now. TIA

play MLB and key in to the RB/FB
if/when its a pass, quickly hit switch player button when ball is in the air and time the INT/SWAT button right b4 the ball gets there, you don't have to control the DB..just switch to him and wait to attack the ball
Control a DE and ALWAYS bullrush the QB, hitting playmaker analog stick to juke past the blockers, this eventually will cause hurried throws and INTs.

u playin on 360? i think the guy that said key on the RB and play MLB was helpful... i'm finding its really hard to stop the pass on this game against teams with 2 good receiving options. the game works better at the higher speeds because when u blitz they actually get there. on slow there is just too much time to recognize the blitz and throw to the gaps. work on taking away their biggest threat and then confusing them with blitzes from odd places, and take one of the blitzing players and user cover sommeone that gets open

I don't think you're gonna want to control a LB until you're good at the game, use a DE for now... and you might want to take the difficulty down until you figure out whats going on, i cant think of anything to say that would make you automatically better

Switch up your coverages..just be smart and figure out what kinda plays he runs
