First, they use an arbitrary cutoff to make him look worse, and then ignore that the team rebounded from 3-5 to 5-3, which is not insignificant. People want to talk about trends and then, well, ignore the trends they don’t like.

hear hear. This is the irritating part to me. I must have heard the word "trend" 100 times in the week leading up to the Arkansas game. The trend is up! We were significantly better and more competitive this year!

You are not wrong for wanting to change coaches when they truly fail to perform. We disagree as to the results and when such a decision should be made. Firing Miles now would be wrong on many levels both for the program and on a personal level.

"I wouldn't call the point where all of Saban's players are gone an arbitrary cut off."

I call bullshite on this and really it's such an old tired argument I don't understand why people keep on using this. By all means say he has got poor clock management skills, definately that he screwed up the whole co-defensive cordinator spot last year, hell, say he is horrible at X and O's and you have a great argument, but the recruiting thing is rediculous and bogus.

Either Saben and Miles can both recruit very well or they can't because using the same sites that rank recruits, they both continue to pull in top 10 classes year in and year out. To try to say that the reason the team has lost more games in the past two years is because of a drop in recruiting and therefore overall team talent is total BS and you know it.

Any fan of Bama, Florida, or another school in the SEC would gladly admit that LSU has just as much talent right now as BAMA or Florida. If anything that's a great argument you could use AGAINST Miles why he is such a bad coach because of the bad job he is doing with this great talent he has. But you can't have it both ways, I'm fine with those arguing he is squandering all the talent he has, but to bring up recruiting and Saben is just dumb.

What you Positigers don't get is that no rational Negatiger is calling for Miles to be fired now.

We can just see the writing on the wall. We know what is coming. Mediocrity is what's coming.

The Positigers, on the other hand, like to pretend Miles will somehow magically right the ship that he has set adrift.

We are realists.

However, if Miles were to bang out 10 or 11 wins next year and win the SEC Championship, I will admit the error of my ways.

fixed it...
good post...i have to agree on this one...I think it also depends on the way he does it as well, just a little...cause dont get me wrong, I want to win it, but if we win it cause everyone else is down and we still arent clicking on O or D, then positigers will have a absolute ton of false confidence...and that often leads to disaster...

book it, write it down, sew it on a patch or tatoo it...its a garuntee...
