Would you trade Miles for...

I was at the Capital One Bowl tailgating and a penn state fan came up. Later we found out he was just a big 10 homer and was actually a Michigan grad in disguise. Well he heard all of the LSU fans raising hell about Les Miles and he proposed a trade, Rich Rod for Leslie. Almost all of the LSU fans jumped on that boat and said hell yes...Would you take that trade straight up, buyouts aside?

I think Rich Rod's spread option offense he ran at UWV would work here with Russell Shepard, Murphy and if we get Lache or Trovon. I don't know the demand the spread option offense has on the O-line so that might be a problem

how is richrod's committment to running to running his system without appropriate personnel different than the criticism we lay on crowton for calling plays seemingly regardless of the players' strengths?
i think it's a sexy and intriguing argument, and we probably have the personnel to do what richrod does, but his committment to do what he wants regardless of personnel is something that should be discussed.

call Miles what every you want but Rich Rod ain't no Les Miles

We would need a much quicker and athletic offensive line to run Rich Rod's offense

Don't think it would hurt to try. Sure couldn't be any worse. Just make sure "the not so wizard" and "prevent to win" are also far, far away from here.

While Rich Rod can coach an offense, I think that the jury is still out on whether or not he can run a successful program on a sustained basis. While it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Miles out of here, I don't want to trade what we have for something that is the same or worse.
