between lsu and fl/bama...i am watching this game on espn and florida has 13 epsn top 150 players and bama has what 9-10 and lsu has like 5....they seem to be widening this gap and with miles in place for the next year it does not look better...

Yes.

And I know sometimes these kids get inappropriately rated sometimes, but year after year these rankings seem to get more and more accurate.

WE had the #1 class last year folks

we will have a top 7 this year

Next year we will land the #1 class again

If we don't, I will be suprised...the talent next year is unreal from Louisiana...5 on board already.

Sucks we lost Mike Davis

You have no idea wtf you are talking about....we had the number 1 ESPN class last year. Next year will probably be one of the better years ever.

If you are consistenly in the top ten, your program is doing really well. I still think part of problem the past few years and coming up year is our '05 and '06 class that wasn't great after Saban left. Talent got better after that and LSU will come back strong in two or three years.

Nope. Not at all. Like crazy said wait till next year. With the instate talent next year, lsu will have one of the top classes. Like last year, when louisiana has great players you'll see lsu higher in the rankings.

LSU had the most in the nation last year, and will be close again next year. There's a ton wrong w/ this program, but recruiting is not one.

Number one player in last years class could barely get on the field and isin't even in the discussion for next year. Why?! Not like he's even been given a chance. Produced every time he was on the field. Only one mistake in first game. What a waste of talent

I'm not concerned at all. Both schools have great classes but look at their commitments.A lot of guys playing the same positions. No way that all of them have an impact in college. There will be transfers and kids that just don't pan out.The players at the top of the rotations for games will be at the same talent level for all 3 teams.it will come down to turnovers, gameplan and QB play.

I am more concerned that Russell Shepard was not allowed to take a series.

Shepard is a 5 star QB. Not one series?

If only we could get Florida and Bama fans to trash their coaching staffs like we do.

But not even the Gumps are that stupid.

In my opinion the gap is coaching. If you ask people which coach do you want running a major college program Saban or Miles? I think if people are honest 99% are going to pick Saban. 17-1 in the last 2 years of the SEC is an amazing run. I just don't see how Miles runs a program to the level of Saban? I think Miles is going to have a tough time keeping up but not because of recruiting.

The head coaching gap as well is very wide.
