Games that should be movies and wouldn't suck: TD's Take

1. Mass Effect (think Star Wars triology-esque)
2. Dead Space (Event Horizon done better)
3. Uncharted 2 (A new-age Indy that doesn't suck)
4. Left 4 Dead 2 (Re-create the suspense of the 28 Days/Weeks later flicks)
5. Halo 3: ODST (sci-fi Vantage Point type)
Movies that would invariably suck:
1. Halo (too grandiose and open-ended with storylines)
2. Assassins Creed (would be an ancient version of Hitman)
3. Resistance (This is a toss-up, but probably CGI overkill reliant)
4. Bioshock (just have a feeling)
5. Fallout 3 (would forever be compared to Mad Max)
Your thoughts?

i agree with the ones that would suck...and for the most part the good ones...but the game that i would love to be made a movie is old school....Leends of dragoon...made almost like final fantasy advent children...but non animated would be terrible and i would agree with your top 5

I would love to see a Fallout 3 movie personally and there have been rumors of one coming. But what do y'all think about the WOW movie from Sam Rami that's coming down the pipeline?

Assassin's Creed could be good in the right hands. I think the mix of ancient history and modern day sci-fi could be good.

Too bad the Hitman movie could have been so much better. They plot line for that movie sucked as it should have focused on more of an origin story and killings than the other agency going after him and that hot bitch. It was too much action in my opinion.
I would love to see a Splinter Cell movie, but knowing Michael Ironside looks nothing like Sam Fisher they couldn't get it right.

God of war would be an awesome movie!!!! Dreamworks + MACE NEUFELD AND STEVEN SPIELBERG + Gerard Butler as Kratos = Greatness!!!!
