Nice article on Ridley - LINK Sounds like a pretty intelligent young man. Also seems like he's intent on making a showing against Penn State! Would be nice considering our offensive woes this season.

If Ridley have a big game against Penn St, he can solidify a starting job for next year

I like Ridley, he seems to have a good attitude and has a want for the starting RB job next year.

It bothers me how little our coaches seem to know the players. I bring it up on this rant on Ridley , because Stevan came back to Natchez a few weeks ago with RS in tow. It seems they're getting to be good friends. SR and RS went to the football field and threw some passes and Stevan started to cut loose with some effort-less 60 yd tight spirals. RS remarked something to the effect that Miles would probably be surprised that Stevan had an arm like that. After 3 years in a program, it seems funny that your head coach doesn't know stuuff like that !!

I can tell you this, the running back certainly has a want to compete and finish first. Penn state will feel the sincerity in his contact.

Don't know much about him,
but I like his attitude.

He runs as if he is determined....

this is not a "coachable" characteristic.

Dont listen to the danfran. All he does is cruise topics and show that he can talk behind his keyboard unlike the rest of his life where he just never had a backbone.

He's part of the circle jerk crew that just comes into every thread, shits on it, says things like fans don't know anything (wow, what insight...after all this is a message board what else are we going to talk about?), then leaves silently after all of his points are shot down.

My father was in the hospital in Natchez last week, and Stevan's mom was one of his nurses. He said they talked some football, but he didn't provide me with any "spicy" scoop. He just said she was a very nice and articulate woman.

Having grown up in Natchez, I wish Stevan well; however, I root for all of the Tigers to do well.

Am I the only one who saw striking similarities in Ridley's stance to a certain trophy???

Just saying...

Never know... Looks pretty to me!

And your part of the crowd that thinks fans know everything and the people employed to do the job are stupid.

I shite on one certain part of the thread because it was stupid. Saying that the HC should know that a RB can throw a tight 60yd spiral is fu*king retarded and shows the level of reality or lack of reality that some of you possess.

Now go back to your NCAA2010 PS3 and "coach'em up" and think you know shite

miles and crowton both have no clue what their players can do.

we have plays for individual players.

the SEC defenses have figured crowton out.
